Local Billing is an online payment processor currently working with over 120 payment methods around the world. We are a dynamic team working out of offices in San Francisco, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Berlin, Zurich, Seoul, Manila, Glasgow and Malta. We serve the international payment processing needs of companies selling soft goods online.

Local Billing seeks a developer to work with a talented young, in-house team and with leading technology companies. The role involves constant human interaction with our clients’ development teams, guiding them in the integration of our billing platform, as well as problem solving, managing technical implementation and troubleshooting.
The applicant will work from our Barcelona office. The developer will travel occasionally within Europe and to the US & Canada for onsite meetings with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing and developing system solutions that integrates hardware, software and the customer.
- Works with the customer in the strategic design process to identify and translate business needs into technical systems solutions.
- Creates the software needed to implement the solution design within the systems parameters.
- Guides our customers` developers through the technical integration between our systems.
- Responsible for the technical correctness of integrated systems design.
- Provides solutions to a diverse range of complex problems.
Pay is commensurate with experience. There is a stock option plan for all employees.

- Excellent communication skills
- English advanced level
- 3 or more years of PHP programming experience
- SQL
- (x)HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript

Object oriented programming
Experience with PHP5
